On Saturday Evening, 9/6, we had the distinct pleasure of pouring 3 of our beers at CT Landmarks “Dinner at the Homestead” event. The event took place under a tent at the Nathan Hale Homestead and mother nature cooperated and left us free of thunderstorms. It was an evening of great farm to table food prepared by Max Restaurant Group, beer by Still Hill and cocktails by CT’s own Onyx Moonshine. Thank you to the great folks at Connecticut Landmarks and to all the people that stopped by to enjoy our beer and chat about the Brewery!!! A special thanks to our good friend Honza Perlik for creating our jockey box cover, we received a lot of compliments on it!

On Saturday, November 30th, some of the Still Hill crew hopped on a bus with 36 or so other intrepid Craft Beer lovers for the CT Beer Trails first Annual Turkey Tour. It was a great day touring around and visiting Back East Brewing Co., The Cambridge House Brew Pub, Broad Brook Brewing, Thomas Hooker Brewing and Olde Burnside Brewing.
What completed the day for the Still Hill gang was pouring our Red Storm Ryesing, an American Amber ale, on the bus. We hope everyone enjoyed the tasting! By the way, buses make for great captive audiences!
Some exciting news. We’ll be pouring our “Nut on the Hill” Brown Ale for the folks on the CTBeerTrail Brewery bus tour tomorrow! We’ll be providing samples of our beer during the lunch stop at The Barley Vine in Bristol. If you’re in the area stop by the Barley Vine and say hi. I won’t be pouring long but I’m sure you can find something you’ll like at the Barley Vine or at our friends down the road at Firefly Hollow Brewery!
